ProCare Injury Specialists Opens 14th Texas Clinic in Waco

New location brings coordinated accident and injury care to the I-35 corridor between Austin and Dallas–Fort Worth

ProCare Injury Specialists today opened its 14th location, a new clinic in Waco, Texas, continuing its expansion to provide comprehensive care for accident and injury patients across the state.

The ProCare Waco clinic will be led by Dr. Austin Acosta and his team to deliver exceptional accident and injury care.

Waco sits at the midpoint of one of the busiest stretches of highway in Texas. I-35 carries commuter, commercial, and university traffic through McLennan County every day, and years of construction along the corridor have kept congestion and collisions high. Preliminary crash data from the Texas Department of Transportation shows more than 1,800 crashes involving injury or death in McLennan County in 2025 alone, injuring nearly 2,800 people. For patients hurt in an accident, the follow-up is often the harder part: piecing together imaging, evaluation, and treatment across separate providers, or driving toward Austin or Dallas–Fort Worth for services that should be available closer to home.

“We’ve been treating patients up and down the I-35 corridor for years, and Waco was an obvious gap,” said Dr. Neil Boecking, President of ProCare Injury Specialists. “People here shouldn’t have to drive an hour in either direction for an evaluation, plan, and treatment. Opening in Waco lets us meet patients earlier in the recovery process and keep their care connected from the start.”

The clinic brings together a range of services commonly needed after an accident, including medical evaluation, imaging, pain management, chiropractic, active rehab, counseling, neurology and more — so patients can move from assessment to treatment without unnecessary delays.

The Waco location will be led by Dr. Austin Acosta, DC, alongside pain management physician Dr. Daniel Kim, MD. Their patient-centered approach focuses on early assessment and evidence-based care, helping their patients understand what comes next and why.

“Most people walk in without a clear picture of what’s wrong or what recovery is going to look like,” said Dr. Acosta. “Our job is to answer that quickly, get them evaluated, explain the findings in plain terms, and keep their recovery moving in the right direction to get them back to feeling their best.”

The Waco clinic adds to ProCare’s growing presence across Central Texas and beyond, following recent openings in Manor, West San Antonio, Temple, and Corpus Christi. As the I-35 corridor continues to develop, the company expects sustained demand for injury care that is both accessible and coordinated.
